Regional Health Council Update - February 2020

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare — febrero 13, 2020
Each of our four Regional Health Councils met in January for their first meeting. These meetings served as a time for group members to get to know each other and lay a foundation for the work that they plan to do. Each council plans to meet during the first month of each quarter (January, April, July, and October) on a regular basis.

Northern Region will meet on the 4th Monday in January, April, July, and October from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at our Five County office, 134 S. Garnett Street, Henderson, NC 27536. Dinner will be served 30 minutes before. Find details about upcoming meetings on our Events calendar.

Central Region will meet on the 4th Monday in January, April, July, and October from 12 – 2 p.m. at our OPC Community office, 201 Sage Rd., Suite 100A, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.  A lunch will be provided during the meeting. Find details about upcoming meetings on our Events calendar.

Triad Region will meet on the 4th Wednesday in January, April, July, and October from 6 – 8 p.m. at our Triad Community office, 650 Highland Avenue, Suite 130, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Dinner will be served 30 minutes before. Find details about upcoming meetings on our Events calendar.

Southern Region will meet on the 4th Monday in January, April, July, and October from 6 – 8 p.m. and will rotate locations. Dinner will be served 30 minutes before. Find details about upcoming meetings on our Events calendar.

Operations Councils

We have met with most of the Health Directors from our counties on January 30 to discuss the Operations Councils and how to best collaborate in this area. Each region will have their own Operations Council that will discuss the analytical data that will support the respective Regional Health Council. Each Region will have a follow up meeting in March to begin work in this area.

Community Advisory Councils

We continue to gather applications for the Community Advisory Councils (CAC). Most of the twenty counties we serve have enough applications to form a minimum membership (7-15 individuals).

We are specifically looking for individuals to join from Warren and Halifax County. If you live or work in one of these counties and are interested in serving, please fill out an application online or email king.jones@cardinalinnovations.org.
