The Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC) helps oversee our clinical system of care. The CAC is composed of licensed clinicians representing various disciplines and disabilities from provider organizations and Cardinal Innovations, as well as members and family representatives.

This Committee identifies and approves clinical guidelines that meet local, state, and/or national standards for intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental health, or substance use disorders. These guidelines are for our contracted provider network and are intended to help improve outcomes for our members.

The CAC also reviews the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Clinical Design Plan and the Community Behavioral Health Service Needs, Providers, and Gaps Analysis.

Meeting Schedule

The CAC will meet at least four (4) times a year. Ad hoc meetings may be convened when necessary at the request of the Committee Chair.
